Washington and Monticello Shows

Congratulations to the Normal Marching Band on outstanding performances at the Washington and Monticello competitions! In Washington, the band earned first place in its class, along with the class award for Outstanding Color Guard. In Monticello, the band earned first place in its class and class awards for Drum Majors, Percussion, and Music, before being named the day’s Overall Grand Champion!

Due by Monday, September 17!

A digital program book is created each year which includes the schedule, participating band information, judge bios, concession information, and ads from local businesses/personal messages for band members.  All NMB Performers are required to sell an ad for the program.  Past members have had a lot of success selling ads to real estate agents, local small businesses, insurance agents, hair stylists, restaurants, and many other places. Ads/personal messages are due by September 17.  This year’s ad form can be found here.
